School-Based Support
Creating Success Where It Matters Most
For children with autism, the school day can bring both opportunities and challenges. Our school-based support provides the in-the-moment guidance your child needs to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Through collaboration with educators and tailored ASD social skills training, we help children build confidence, focus, and resilience in their school environment. Because we believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and capable at school.
School-Based Support
At Go Behavioral, we understand that success in school is about more than just academics. For students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the school environment can present unique challenges in communication, social interaction, behavior regulation, and learning strategies. Our school-based support services are designed to help students with autism thrive across all aspects of the school day.
Comprehensive School-Based ABA Services
Our team partners directly with schools, teachers, and families to provide targeted behavioral support and skills development within the educational setting. Whether through 1:1 support, small group instruction, or collaboration with school staff, we ensure that students receive the assistance they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our School-Based Support Includes:
- Behavior Intervention and Support
Implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to reduce challenging behaviors and increase positive, functional behaviors.
- In-Classroom Support
Our trained behavior technicians work alongside students during lessons to support focus, participation, and appropriate classroom behaviors.
- Functional Communication Training
Helping students develop effective ways to express needs, ask for help, and interact with peers and teachers.
- Collaboration with IEP Teams
We work closely with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to design goals and interventions that align with the student’s educational objectives.
- Transition and Life Skills Support
Preparing students for changes such as moving to new grades, new schools, or post-school life with transition-focused planning and support.
ASD Social Skills Training at School
A key part of our school-based services includes ASD social skills training delivered in real-world settings. We help students develop and practice critical social skills such as:
- Initiating and maintaining conversations
- Understanding nonverbal communication and social cues
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving with peers
- Cooperative play and teamwork
- Emotion recognition and self-regulation in group environments
Our social skills training is integrated into the student’s school day, helping them apply new skills in natural peer interactions during class activities, lunch, recess, and group projects.
Our school-based services include:
- 1:1 behavior support in the classroom
- Behavior Intervention Implementation (BII) services
- Individualized Education Program (IEP) support and consultation
- Collaboration with teachers, counselors, and special education teams
- Transition support for moving between grade levels or to new schools
