AN UPDATE FOR OUR FAMILIES
Important Notice for CalViva Health and Health Net Families
Go Behavioral is aware that some families have recently received notices regarding our participation with CalViva Health and Health Net.
Current Network Status
At this time, Go Behavioral has not received final formal confirmation stating that we have been excluded from the CalViva Health or Health Net network. We are actively communicating with both health plans to obtain clear, consistent, and written information regarding these notices and their potential impact on services.
Go Behavioral continues to receive and process authorizations at this time. However, authorization and coverage decisions are determined by the health plan and may vary based on each member’s individual circumstances.
YOUR OPTIONS
Families Who Would Like to Continue With Go Behavioral
Families who prefer to continue receiving ABA services from Go Behavioral may:
- Contact CalViva Health or Health Net using the telephone number listed on the notice or on the back of the insurance card.
- Clearly communicate that Go Behavioral is their preferred ABA provider and ask that this preference be documented.
- Request Continuity of Care with Go Behavioral and ask that the request be formally reviewed.
- Ask how to file a grievance or appeal if they disagree with a proposed provider change.
- Request the representative's name and a reference number for the call.
- Send Go Behavioral a copy of any notice received and the call reference number so our team can provide appropriate support.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOUR FAMILY
Coverage and Family Financial Responsibility
We understand that families may be concerned about receiving a bill for their child’s services. Under an approved Continuity of Care arrangement, covered ABA services are paid by CalViva Health or Health Net in accordance with the health plan’s authorization and payment requirements.
Go Behavioral will not bill families for covered ABA services provided under an approved Continuity of Care arrangement. We will continue working directly with the health plan regarding authorizations, claims, and payment.
Families should contact their health plan to confirm their child’s individual Continuity of Care status and obtain a reference number for the call.
WE ARE HERE TO HELP
Additional Support
Families should continue monitoring communications from CalViva Health, Health Net, and Go Behavioral regarding their child’s individual authorization and service status.
If your family is considering changing health insurance plans, our Intake Department can help you understand available options and connect you with appropriate resources.
Go Behavioral remains committed to supporting families and will provide additional updates when verified information becomes available.
